Not the cheapest one but excellent value for money. A good choice of extra supplies: TV set and coffee. The place is 1 km away from Stevenage downtown. They offered ironing at no cost too.

nothing beats being in poacher. the location and staff were good, we really enjoyed this budget hotel. the budget double room suited us: it had a microwave oven, a flat-screen tv with cable channels and a study table. for dinner, we went to bedwell pizza & kebab, it was a couple of blocks away from the venue.
